Alpha on Button?
I can set an alpha value on an image but I'm not seeing that option on a button.
I need to use a button because I am passing parameters to a script whenever the button is pressed (I can't seem to find a way to pass parameters from an image).
Anyone know how to set the alpha level of a button?

Mysterious? LED flickering
First of all, I'm a total noob to this stuff.
I just received my Zee S2 and HS-WD100 switches last week and have never used z-wave or home automation before. So if there are some basic settings I should be aware of, don't assume I am.
Here are the pertinent? facts:
Equipment:
Zee S2
HS-WD100+ dimmer switches
Lighting loads:
Kitchen table lighting - 3-bulb chandelier
Kitchen island lighting - two 1-bulb pendants
All fixtures are using the same brand and size of dimmable LED bulb (not sure which brand - bought at Home Depot).
The problem is that the island lights flicker randomly. It can be several minutes between a flickering and the flickering may be a single flicker or a series of flickers and generally short pulses.
The table lights do not flicker at all.
Both pendants flicker in unison. So I assumed it was the switch. So I swapped switches between the island and table lighting. The flickering remained with the pendants (i.e. the flickering did not follow the switch).
I've also disabled the S2 z-wave plugin and the flickering still occurred. So presumably it's not the controller telling the light to do something.
The load line from the switch to the pendants is a single wire so there is a split somewhere between the switch and the pendants to feed both of them.
So, I'm wondering if this could be the root cause of the flickering. Maybe too much loss or something? And I'm wondering if there are some Z-wave tweaks that can mitigate the problem? Or really interested in any other suggestions.

I have changed my custom conditions:

I have generated 3 speak devices.
1. Purely uses today...
2. Uses a custom forecast script where I have specified individual forcasts using day numbers
3. Forecast Script (Automatic 5box one you have made with me just filling your entries minus the day/night numbers)
On all 3 - they do not seem to update to the new strings.
I have checked my HSTouch child nodes and they defiantly say the new strings....
Please would you check?

I've just noticed an error and nothing seems to be working in the plugin.
The error is
Download maps: Index was outside the bounds of the array
Not sure when this started but user pages says "error" and nothing seems to be working (been fine for years).
I tried reverting back and replaced all the files in the data/weatherXML folder with an earlier backup but still the same. I recently updated to .51 on the 16th.
Any ideas??

System standby?
Hello to all.
First ,sorry for my english.
I have an system HS3 with 6 arduino mega 2560 and 2 arduino one from 2 yers ago.
1 week ago, i am updated the system to .293 and the Arduino plugin to .118 versions.
Now i have this problems :
1. for all the arduino boards i have the deelay with the first command.
For example : for baord 1 - if i have the command for any input pin - the board work perfect. but if i don't have any command for 2-3 hours the arduino board it seems in standby and for first command i have the deelay (5-10 sec.). From second work fine but if i have another pause of the commands - after is the same delay.
2.In the Arduino Plugin Page if change the name of state to Output (by default is OFF and ON - i changed with UP and Down) after reboot af the system the name is OFF and ON (isn't the UP and Down).
I need your help specialy for the "standby" problem.

HSTouch Crash with latest version (and others)
Hello all,
Have an odd situation here. Not sure if this is something I'm doing wrong, issues with the Insteon PI, Insteon Thermo PI, or HSTouch Server but after startup everything is fine for a bit. Setpoint changes, temp changes, etc work fine. After a few minutes if I try to adjust setpoint (both cool and heat) or if the thermostat makes a temp change notification the HSTouch server debug log floods with "Refreshing Thermostat Info" and eventually the HSTouch server usually crashes. During and after this CPU spikes and stays at a steady 25%-75% and if the HSTouch server remains running it becomes unresponsive. The odd part.. works fine sometimes.. and then decides to crash and burn...
Specs are below. I have tried several variations on all of these and all produce the same results...
RPI3 running Ubuntu 16.04 (also tried Raspbian - latest)
Mono Version 4.2.1 (also tried 3.2.8 with Raspbian)
HS3 Pro (latest Linux version)

Been trying to get TTS working for a month...
Please help. My god...
The only thing I get is a error in the log.
Error in DoCheckAnnouncementQueue. 100 seconds expired since the announcement started and no end was received.
Simple config, one SONOS device. I have a bunch of hstouch devices but have no desire to send any TTS to them, just SONOS.

Need help with this program, Insteon KeyPad not acting the way I want
Hi all,
Won't post this in the Insteon forum as I feel it's more general to HomeSeer. Here's the issue I have. I have an Insteon KeyPadLinc which works fine but have an issue. I have it so pressing Button A on it runs an event which turns on a Z-Wave light and Off turns it off. Works fine.
I then have one that says if that Z-Wave light is NOT OFF, to turn on the Button A, basically to light it up so it shows it's on. Then another that says if the light is OFF, to turn off Button A.
The problem I'm having is that if I manually turn on the light from the switch say to 30%, HS3 turns on Button A as expected, but in doing that it then triggers the event "If Button A goes ON, turn on the Z-Wave Light" which turns that light up to 100% brightness.
Is there a way to set it so that it's more specific, like "If Button A is PHYSICALLY pressed then turn on Z-Wave light" vs if it's just turned on? I don't want to use the 3rd party plugin as it's a bit too expensive for the few Insteon devices I have as I'm trying to sell them all off but wanted to keep one keypad. Just don't want to pay for that 3rd party plugin just to run 1 or 2 devices. I'll pull out the KPL and go with something Z-Wave if this isn't possible but thought I'd check first to see if there's other options. Thanks!

Spotify Question
What is the best way to get Spotify connected to home entertainment system. I tried downloading squeezeplay on my HS machine and I'm able to get music to my HTS however can't figure out Spotify. When I go on logitech media server under radio I see all the stations but under my apps there is nothing. What am I missing.

Battery Icons not updating
All the devices I have with battery indicators (icons) are not updating the status of its battery level. Is there a setting or something I am missing to get this working. This not something that once worked and stopped they have never worked since they were installed at different times. I have 20 devices with batteries that do not update.

Kwikset Z-Wave 910 lockset battery drains quickly
My Kwikset 910 Z-Wave lockset goes through a set of batteries in a 2 to 3 weeks and this is using the automated latch only once a day, possibly less.
The polling intervals for the root and the child devices are all set around the the 12 minute mark which does not seem unreasonable.
Should I turn polling off and just depend on the reports the lock sends?

Dragon Tech firmware for step?
Is there firmware available to set the step rate in the Dragon Tech PD-100? I try to set the rate but it doesn't take.
And, on another note, is Dragon Tech out of business? If so, I'm concerned because I have ALL Dragon Tech, read Homeseer, switches and dimmers in my home.
